Welcome to Jackson Keller Elementary, home of the Jackrabbits. Jackson Keller is a school where excellence in academics and extra-curricular activities is a tradition. Jackson Keller supports and encourages all students to reach their full potential, and students are prepared for success in middle school, high school, and beyond. Mission
Jackson Keller Elementary School is a school where excellence in academics and extracurricular activities is a tradition. We support and encourage all students to reach their full potential. We make sure students are prepared for success in middle school, high school and beyond. We provide a Dual Language program offering students persity and an opportunity to learn new passions. The program provides instruction for native English speakers and native Spanish speakers in both languages. Our staff provides each child the acceptance, support and encouragement that will nurture the growth of a positive self-concept that is the foundation for all future learning. Further, we believe that our stimulating educational environment provides numerous opportunities that encourage thinking, questioning, exploring, and creating that will develop in each child a lifelong interest in learning.
Vision
Our vision is to create independent thinkers and learners who will leave our perse multicultural campus, exemplifying good character, with a passion for lifelong learning and the desire and ability to become productive members of society.
Education Approach
Students who attend Jackson-Keller attend an extended school year calendar. Students not mastering content could return for the intersession week for real time support. Teachers have a dedicated week to focus solely on ensuring struggling students move towards mastery. The school’s year-round schedule per TEC §25.084 would spread out school days so they reach into the summer, minimizing summer slide risk for all students.

Welcome to the LEE Cluster in the North East Independent School District. Your child will discover even more opportunities at Nimitz and Jackson Middle School. As their academic foundation expands in the classroom, their circle of friends and experiences will grow through new opportunities in Athletics, Fine Arts, Student Council, National Junior Honor Society, competitive UIL contests, and more. The STEM Academy Middle School magnet is located at Nimitz. In this program, students forge a foundation for future careers in biomedical sciences, engineering, and technology fields.
At Legacy of Educational Excellence (LEE) High School, your child will excel academically and socially while embracing beloved Volunteer traditions with memories that will last a lifetime. Your child has the freedom and support to pursue their passions in a variety of nationally recognized programs, organizations, and clubs – from Athletics to JROTC, Band, Dance, PALS, Photography, UIL, and much more.
LEE High School is home to the International School of the Americas (ISA), the STEM Academy High School, and the North East School of the Arts (NESA). ISA focuses on project-based learning that tackles global issues while NESA paves the way for students interested in theatre, filmmaking, writing, art, and dance. The STEM Academy offers problem-based, technology-rich curriculum for students wanting to continue their study of science, technology, engineering, and math after graduation.
